Tasks and process
Managed the entire design cycle, from ideation to final implementation;
Created detailed user flows and information architecture to optimize user journeys;
Conducted in-depth analysis of similar platforms to identify the most effective interaction patterns and best practices;
Complete redesign of the first version of the site;
Designed both full and mobile versions of the site, ensuring responsive and seamless ux across devices;
Communication with developers and product owner;
Provided assistance with website testing.
In this project, I received tasks from a product owner who had a general info of user needs and conducted secondary reserch. My job was to create designs for specific tasks - new features, improving existing elements or improving interfaces.
Once the design was created, the product owner would run tests with their focus group, gather feedback, and come back with edits or approval.

Problem Statement

There is limited interaction on current platforms for fans and creators, which hinders the bond between them. Fans don't have enough tools to fully communicate with creators or discuss with other fans, and our goal is to create an active community.

Target Audience
There are 2 main types of users on the platform - fans and creators. Despite the fact that fans are the majority on the platform, attention to creators is also an important part, as the activity of real creators directly affects the growth of the project.

Navigation
The site has a classic navigation with a header at the top, which has a search input so that users can search for a creator anywhere on the site.
On the desktop the previous version of search, this one is more simplified. We decided to maximize the search possibilities for users because badges and creators are becoming more and more.
Home page
On the homepage, our main goal was to maximize engagement for fans. We added an entire list of categories so the user could find their topic and understand the search capabilities. We also added suggestions of popular creators, offering each user personalized recommendations and encouraging them to explore deeper.

We went through many iterations - adding, tweaking and balancing content - to arrive at the current version. Going forward, user feedback needs to be gathered to improve and adapt the homepage to meet their needs.

Discover Creators
On the discover creators page, we have emphasized detailed sorting, providing a convenient and specific search among a large number of profiles. Users can filter creators by category, gender, rating, social network, country, and, most importantly, unique badges. This sorting system gives flexibility in the search, allowing the user to find creators that best match fan interests.

This is our second version of this page, more advanced for search, we've improved the user experience given that there are more creators.
In the mobile version, when scrolling down the page, filter buttons dynamically appear at the bottom of the screen and remain fixed, providing access to sorting no matter how deep the user is in the feed. This approach greatly improves navigation and usability of the interface.
Creator page
The platform contains a large catalog of creator profiles that fans can interact with immediately. Fans can leave reviews on creator pages, as well as create threads directly on the creator page discussing topics with other fans, similar to forum threads.

The Creator page consists of three sections: Reviews , Discussions , and Bio & FAQ.

A “Discussions” tab has been added to the creator page, complementing the reviews section and aiming to increase fanato engagement.

“Bio & FAQ” tab, the main purpose of which is SEO optimization. However, it also benefits fans as it contains important information about the creator and allows users to interact with the data by editing and updating it.

Messages
The messaging is implemented at this stage in the basic functionality.
Polls
Polls was implemented to create an additional level of interaction and user engagement on the platform. Based on the polls format familiar to users from messengers and social networks, we offer fans a unique opportunity to directly influence content by interacting with creators.

This feature not only increases engagement, but also encourages users to become more involved in the life of the platform, incentivizing them to come back again and again to participate in new polls and discussions. Polls helps creators better understand their audience, get feedback, and build more personalized interactions with fans.
Component system
the system has accelerated the workflow when maintaining the same style and patterns, especially when finalizing many different user scenarios that require quick changes.
Results & Insights
I have successfully created the MVP version design envisioned by Product Owner requests. At the moment, the team is focused on SEO optimization and increasing traffic to ensure sustainable product development and attract new users. According to the feedback from the target audience, we have achieved positive in usability.
While working on the project, I learned effective methods of organizing layouts in Figma in an environment where there is no clear structure and fixed process.
This was a valuable experience for me in terms of interacting with the product owner, discussing hypotheses and ideas, and working with the developer. In the course of the project I realized which solutions are easier and cheaper to develop, and which are more expensive and complex without reducing the functionality of the users.
